bride of the month- january

Jordan is our very first Bride of the Month, congratulations!

Jordan was selected because we loved how she managed to capture a feeling of elegance whilst obviously remaining unique,feminine and also fashionable.

 Many people think about wearing a shorter wedding dress but Jordan has followed through and still kept a feeling of vintage elegance and glamour. She told us her wedding dress was actually a lace slip with a gorgeous soft pink wrap skirt over the top, both from A La Robe. 

We also loved how she finished the outfit off with her fabulously quirky shoes. They add not only colour and depth but a cheeky sense of personality to her look.

Their wedding reception was at:TriBeCa in Parnell, Auckland. 

It's so refreshing to see someone who has followed their own personal style so strongly on their wedding day and we think she looks absolutely fantastic. 

Blue Baths Bridal Expo

Yesterday we were at the Blue Baths Bridal Expo in Rotorua. We couldn't believe how many bride-to-be's braved the torrential rain to be there! The Blue Baths was such an amazing venue for the expo.  Known worldwide as a perfect 1930's style venue, and in fact has catered for international weddings from destinations such as Dubai, purely because of this.

 We had such an amazing time meeting brides and their families and friends. It's so cool learning about brides' ideas and themes etc.  We also met so many other stall holders such as Nicola Inglis Photography (check her out- gorgeous!)
