2011 collection preview

jensenandrews loves- Matchi Motchi

One half of us was lucky enough to get attend the NZ fashion festival friday night show with JJ Fong (blog). Designers included Zambesi, Tiger Lily, Matchi Motchi, Kingan Jones and others. Matchi Motchi was a show stopper! The 10 look runway collection was totally avant-garde, with our pick being the knit dress that alluded to tree roots growing around the body- plus everyone NEEDs the printed pantyhose! Emma, one half of the designer duo behind Matchi Motchi was so lovely and was wearing a dress from her S/S 2012 collection, another one to look out for!

bride of the month-march

We can't get enough of this fab wedding! How stunning is our March bride Jacinda?! She looks so chic! We love how contemporary her look is, her textured skirt reminds us of one of Jane Yeh's creations from her collection that we attended at 2010 NZ Fashion Week.
We also love how the bridesmaids complement Jacinda's look by echoing the sweetheart neckline of her dress. The bridesmaid dresses were made by her mum and one of the bridesmaids, Amber (who is one half of an amazing blog that we follow: check it out here).   Jacinda's wedding photographers are a husband and wife duo all the way from Canada.
